As the winter months come on us Blue Ridge heads back into the studios to complete recording their new CD, One Nation. The single One Nation went out in July of 2009 and has been a big hit. This CD, named after the successful single, will include some new great songs by the guys. Family Trip up to Whiteside Mtn. between Highlands and Cashiers, NC. My dad and step-mom were in town and wanted to go on top of a mountain. Well, i got them hiking up to Whiteside Mtn. They enjoyed the view but I bet next time there will be an emphasis on a mountain where you can drive a car to.

Blue Grass / BBQ Fundraiser

The 1st Annual Hog Wild Blue Grass / BBQ Concert was held May 2, raising around $1400 for International World Changer Missions to Thailand. At one time 200-300 were on hand for BBQ and to listen to Mountain Faith of Sylva, Rhy Holler Boys from Bryson City, and Foxfire Boys from Rabun County, GA. Shane Corbin, owner of Hog Wild, said it was a very good first year and expects this event to become an annual event.
