The pre-Amateurs meal was a novel idea to announce the Friday pairings and get the teams together before the competition began.

Jack's dog had an unfortunate accident on Kennon's pants during the first day of competition. KV handled it well, but still had to wear them the next day on the course.

The 2008 Amateurs lost some faithful men who went to the Final Four, but watching it with the guys made the victory even sweeter on Saturday night.
