storm's a'comin'
the impending storm, predicted to be the worst in recent years, has not yet reached the cypress coast. at 4:30 this afternoon, i was returning from the store (to buy batteries for our flashlights) when i shot this series of pictures on the 17-mile drive at a sight called "the restless sea." i have counted 3 unique currents occurring at the same time at this coastal anomaly. only 2 today. there were about 10 surfers waiting for waves in spanish bay, about 600 feet behind me on the right. the subject in the last 3 pics requested a gratuity. i told him i'd pixelate his face. so, i lied.
