Fortress of Narva, taken from the bridge between Estonia and Russia
Road in Russia in the end of Sept, full of colours
Road in Russia. Check the right hand side which is full of poisonous plants, often up to 3 m high. In Estonia there's a big campaign to get rid of these plants but on that road to St Petersburg all the sides of the road were full of it.
My Grandmom Eliina (originally Elina but the name got twisted in time for some reason)
The place where her house used to be more than 60 years ago. Now there are tiny strange summer houses
My dad, my grandmom and one local lady called Maria who told us many things about the history of the village. Btw, her husband had the same last name as my grandmom used to have so I guess we were relatives actually.
Amazing sunset when leaving the village and heading to the St Petersburg
Me and the sunset
Metro lines in St Petersburg
Metro in St Petersburg. It's extremely deep below the ground and my Dad said it was built that way during the Soviet time to be a protection against atomic bombing.

One amazing room in Winter Palace
There were rooms and rooms and rooms after another full of paintings, one more famous than the other
Limousines from the window of Winter Palace. I've never seen so huge ones. There's one behind the big ones, which seems so small now and there was at least 3 of the smaller ones passing the big ones. Crazy
Room full of portraits of generals and other high military people. In the end a picture of Peter the 1st, the one who built the palace
Big Throne room

Normal road in the sleeping area of St Petersburg. Old buildings
Behind every next turn you see brand new buildings being built. There's tens and tens of those huge houses, mostly they are all still empty.
New area just outside of the city borders which has been bought by Chinese and where a new Chinese city area is being built with houses, school and everything else
My Dad, my Grandmom and Silva who hosted us. This is made near the lake where my grandmom used to walk by as a kid.
In the middle there is a small island. Btw, this is where the Petergov fountains are getting their water and where czarinnas used to swim.
Petergov main fountains, this was an amazing place. Btw, there's no motors for these cascades, it's all a natural pressure used in a smart way. Made by the czar Peter the 1st.
In Petergov

A typical old style house in the country side in Russia. There's not many houses like that left...
