Little Downing Mountain - 26sep09

A previous commitment limited our time so we were only able to reach Little Downing (rather than Downing Mountain as previously planned). Castle Crag - 11-12sep09

I lead a couple of women (and one husband) from the Bitterroot Backcountry Women to the summit of Castle Crag -- Linda went, too. We hiked into Knaack Lake (just below the summit) on Friday and set up camp. Since I still had too much energy I climbed West Sheafman Peak while the others sat around the campfire. The next morning we climbed Castle Crag before breaking camp and returning to the trailhead.
