Outside my house, July 18th, summer (technically)... GET ME OUT OF HERE!!
The land of the 1.000 umbrellas. (In the background the Munich town hall)
Lounge. Empty.
No one in a hurry today.
Leisurely boarding in Munich Airport.
The last steps to the plane. I'm so happy I can get away!
Because the weather here SUCKS (if I did not mention before).
Munich sky. Departure.
Bologna, from the sky. O.k., at least try: There is the stadium, upper third of the picture, right edge, a little white oval shape. And there is San Petronio in the center of the town. Don't see it? Anyway.
Roma sky. Arrival.
Another empty airport. Where is everyone?
Tipico ragazzo austriaco. (c) Miss GDP
Saturday evening I walked by some church (happens in Rome) and was just in time for the fun part of a wedding.
Here is how it works....
Take some rice,...
...wait until they come out,...
THROW!!!
THROW MORE!
THROW EVEN MORE!
...(and so on)...
...until they think they've made it,...
...then throw again!
So where does the average tipico austriaco go in Rome? To the new Sacher, of course.
Which is a small cinema in Trastevere with a nice outside arena. I watched "Entre le murs", this year's winner in Cannes. In Italian. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1068646/
Night falling.
On Sunday, to save energy for the concert I joined my friend Byron and decided to hang out and explore Villa Borghese, Roma's biggest park in the center.
Villa Borghese, the art museum.
The little lake with the temple of Esculapio (Asklepios).
This weird thing is - if I translated the inscription correctly from Latin (!!) - a water reservoir built under Mussolini.
And here I could really imagine chilling in the evening with a cold beer and watching some Ben Hur action...
