From Taiohae, we walked the trail to the ridge at the souteast side of the bay with Stephanie, her 2yr. old daughter, from Casa Terre, and Jan & Rich from Slip Away. It's been unusually dry, so the hiking was easy, and rivers/streams non existent or very low. Another day, Sue walked to Colette Bay, just over the ridge to the west with the crews from Blauwe Pinquin and Comfort Zone. Seeing and meeting Moana was like meeting a true authentic Chip n Dale! His tatoo's were administered by his older brothers, and they start giving them at a young age.
