The Schott's Visit
Nick's sister, Kari, her husband, Jim, and their four kids came to stay with us June 26-29. While they were here we visited the Denver Zoo, went to Evergreen for dinner at Beau Jo's, and celebrated Kari, Connie, James and Nathan's birthdays.

Summer Fun
On June 9 we spent the day playing in our own back yard with our new pool. On June 24 we went to a great out-door pool in Castle Rock with Zach, Trent, Nathan, Alex, Aaron and Mia. On July 8 we went swimming with Zach and Trent at their apartment complex.

Aubri's Ballet Lessons

Trip to Kansas
We took a quick trip out to Hesston, KS, to visit Nick's sister and her family. We left home on Thursday, March 27th, and drove to Hays, KS (about a 6 hour drive). We stayed the night at a Holiday Inn that had a wonderful swimming pool and a big water slide. Friday morning we loaded up and drove the remaining 2 hours to get to Hesston. We spent the rest of Friday and all day Saturday playing with cousins. Then we headed back home after church on Sunday.

Easter & Rylynn's 2nd Birthday
After we returned home from church on Easter morning we enjoyed some last minute Easter egg dying, with some help from Chad and Debbie. As soon as that was complete we headed over to Ma and Pa's house for an Easter egg hunt, Easter dinner, and a celebration of Rylynn's birthday. Molly and I had made a birthday cake the day before and decorated it with Boots, Rylynn's favorite character from Dora the Explorer.

Rylynn's Birthday Party at Fat City
Since Rylynn's 2nd birthday fell right on Easter this year we decided to get together with Nick's side of the family the week earlier. We all met at Fat City and let the kids play in the Foam Factory for a couple of hours before having cupcakes and openning presents.

We went with Jason, Brandy, Alex, Aaron, Derrick, Leanna, Zach, Trent, Nathan, Dustin, Lindsey, Ember, Nana and Boppa to watch the Nuggets play the Philadelphia 76ers.

Downtown Aquarium
While Nick's brother, Dustin, and sister, Ember, were in town visiting we took a trip downtown and spent a few hours at The Aquarium. Dustin's girlfriend, Lindsey, Ember's 2-month-old baby, Lillian, and Nana came along also.

Christmas in Sterling - 2007
While in Sterling with Dad, Mel, Grandma and Uncle Terry we were visited by Santa Claus. He took us for a scenic tour around the picturesque town of Sterling on his festive fire truck. Before leaving he gave each of the kids their own toy fire truck.
