Before Climbing Obim Hill, we visited St James Church at the base. The people of Obim were all put in IDP camps for the last few years and just came out 7 months ago.

The IDP camp of Obim was built on Obim hill. The hill was guarded then by gov (UPDF) soldiers. People were allowed to go and farm in the day but at night anything moving off the hill was shot at. The houses were maybe 5 feet in diameter!

A CRWRC learning group came for 3 days and: day 1 they went with our home based care providers to visit clients around Boroboro. Day 2 we went to Cosbel and visited some of their clients, and went around TesoBar. Day 3 we went to Aduku and met the committee working there and an amaranth farm.

We emptied the old millet out of the grain hut, then Brenda replastered it with manure and mud, and then it was filled with new millet. Alfred & Katherine brought us beans, fruit, a broom and Buddy, our new chicken!
