From this vista above Mono Lake I spied the gravel road to the lake which was to be my first off pavement experience
ooooops!...didn't turn out so well I guess...the road turned into deep sand...I found out that I don't like sand!
Back up and ready to go...only hurt my leg a little getting it stuck under the right pannier...thoought there was no damage but turns out I cracked my gas tank and fuel was leaking to L.A. but didn't know it....yikes what fun!

My temporary home in L.A. in Thad's bike trailer was pretty comfy!
