Our wireless Internet antennae is mounted in this nice ohia tree. Does this turn our computer-savy guests into "tree huggers???"
Lisa's NEVER been camping in her life but decided to check Lova Lava Land out. She had all positive feedback (except for all that bird chirping noise all the time) ha ha j/k Lisa.....

Our 'green' in spirit but red in color eco-parking lot! Built from lava & local dirt - even the sign is from a fallen tree & our own rocks.
It wouldn't feel like Hawaii if we didn't have a home-made grill of lava rock, picnic table, & umbrella that lights up at night using solar power!

Preparing our wonderful worm compost (from guest scraps) to fertilize the property plantings!

We are lucky to have shady ohia trees all around this property - pretty rare for the Ocean View neighborhoods (which is all lava flow and often not many trees).

Sustainable decorations are a staple here - shells, rocks, & a dead ohia branch as a towel hook.
There isn't a better way to start the day than putting freshly ground Kona or Kau coffee into the french press, no power needed & good coffee tastes better than using those machines that use power!
You won't find this setup in a Wal-Mart.
