Boats and Canoes
AusAid have recently agreed to providing an equivilancy grant to build two working sailing boats, these will be built by locals, with Guys training and assistance and then used for carrying goods to Australia for sale, in the process becoming one of VERY few working sailing boats in the world! more on this soon!
Boats are an integral part of life in the islands, and yet the safety and capability of the local craft is currently very poor.
