living on loring workshop
For 10 weeks with a little help from my friends , we taught photography, art, writing and creative installation to 12 young girls who lived on my street. Outside my steel gate they played, and gathered, although it was something i had seen all my life. After living abroad for 4 years without coming home, the way i saw things had changed, my eyes had changed.
I was presented by Silvana Diaz , Angel shaw and Ann Wizer a concept that dealt with women and the area in which we were to produce the art, It would be an art that would break down gates, walls and barriers. I myself had all these walls and so did they and I found art, friendship, creating and interaction breaks down walls faster then i have ever imagined. I thought art would change them but after everything that i have taught them, It was i who learned so much. This is not just a workshop ti Art its a workshop on your HEART
