D. Brobst Chatsworth- Veteran of the Grand Army of the Republic. He was a member of G.A.R. Post 388 in Chatsworth. This would have probably been David Brobst, who with Chris Becker, formed Brobst and Becker Furniture and Undertaking. Their business was in the east business block. This is under 1886 in Haberkorn's book. By 1887 it is listed in The Plaindealer as Sandford and Brobst Furniture and Undertaking. He is also listed as a resident in the History of Livingston County 1878.
