Setting up the booth. Ken and Peter from MORCA.
Amateur practice. Heading to work on the dual slalom course
Finished my DS work on Friday. Loading up beer on the Bob for the MBoSC booth. I have advocacy to do and nothing greases the wheels of advocacy like some great Seabright Beer. Yes, that's a Manitou I fork with 5 mm of travel up front.
I gave the Dirt Rag guys a case of Seabright to review for the "Beer Me" column. Look for it in an upcoming issue. The Blur IPA is a favorite with Maurice Tierney the publisher.
Peter and Hisami. Cheimi is in the bouncy castle with Marla Streb and her daughter.
Blur on Blur. Henrieta from MORCA finishes 1st in the Super D.
Nice views from the MBoSC/MORCA booth.
Daryl and Chris knocking back a few at the MBoSC/MORCA booth. The beers were a huge hit among advocates, volunteers and racers! Mark Hendershot from the Santa Cruz Syndicate team pulled up on a Blur and drank a few cups of Blur. He stuck around to hear the whole advocacy pitch.
Breakfast with Buell: beer and sausages
Nice hat, dude! Buell off to work on the DS course.
The start of the downpour. Ug. The forecast was for LIGHT rain. WTF.
Just before it really came down.
The view from the booth was great. With binoculars, we could watch the DS races.
Doggy back
For 3 days we watched airborne kids
Henrietta's second gold of the Otter. She won the Womens 50+ XC and shared her bottle of Champagne with the booth. Congrats, Henrietta.
