The Engineering and Physical Sciences Library (EPSL) is located in the Math Building (#084) at the University of Maryland - College Park.
Once you enter the Math Building, a sign will direct you to the library located on the first floor.
Outside the main entry to EPSL is an area where students are allowed to eat and drink. With vending machines and tables, students can refresh themselves while continuing their work and abiding by EPSL's no food policy.

The first floor of EPSL contains the reference collection, computers, current periodicals, microfilms, patents, new books, the information and circulation desks, and quiet study areas.
INFORMATION DESK: For your research or library questions, stop by the information desk and talk to a knowledgeable staff member.
CIRCULATION DESK: Need to access something on reserve or check out a book? Just stop by the circulation desk.
SELF CHECKOUT: Avoid long lines at the circulation desk by using the self checkout terminal on the first floor.
PATENTS: EPSL is a Patent and Trademark Depository Library (PTDL). The full text of all United States Patents on DVD-ROM (1790 to date) are available along with the indexes and other aids needed to use the patents.
NEW TITLES: Every week new additions are displayed in front of the Circulation Desk.
NEW BOOKS: Browse recent new additions to the EPSL collection in the comforatble sitting area behind the Information Desk.
EXHIBITION AREA: The library displays exhibits on various science and technology themes throughout the year.
COMPUTERS: Public omputers are available on the first floor of EPSL for conducting research, typing assignments, searching library databases, etc.
COMPUTERS: More work stations are available for your information and research needs during busy hours.
PRINTER/COPIERS: There are four photocopy machines (three black & white and one color). The printer is located on the right side of the monitor. To use the photocopy machines either a university ID with a Terrapin Express account or a visitor photocopy card can be used.
COPY CARD ATM MACHINE: Here you can purchase and add money to a visitor photocopy card or add money to your Terrapin Express account.
QUIET STUDY AREA: Individual study carrels on the first and second floor are reserved for quiet study.
CURRENT PERIODICALS: Browse current periodicals or check the library catalog for the location of the periodical you are looking for.
MICROFILM COLLECTION: The microfilms are arranged alphabetically by title.
MICROFILM READER: Use the microfilm reader for reading and printing microfilm and microfiche.

INDEX ROOM COLLECTION: This collection is available online but for your convenience you can browse the items here in print.
OVERSIZE COLLECTION: Located on the second floor in front of the Index Room.
LAPTOP LOUNGE: This room is under renovation.
LAPTOP LOUNGE: The room is almost ready for use but still under construction.
GROUP STUDY AREA: Tables and individual rooms are available for your group strudy needs.
GROUP STUDY ROOM: Large room with 12-14 people capacity.
GROUP STUDY ROOM: Small room with 5 people capacity.
PERIODICAL STACKS: The bound journals found here do not circulate.

The TECHNICAL REPORTS CENTER contains over two million scientific and technical reports. Ask at the Information Desk for help with locating technical reports.
