Perhaps the most dirty and gross place I've ever been to in my travels: de Stonetown meat market (in the back, in the white area). So incredibly dirty that we didn't make more than a few meters before running back out again.
Dhows of Zanzibar These most incredible sailing boats are found everywhere along the Tanzanian coast. Used mainly for cargo you can only appreciate the inguinity of these massive ships.
