Mulbekh, Chiktan & Takmachik Semester in the Himalayas trip through northern Ladakh, with stops in Kargil, Mulbekh, Chigtan, and Takmachik. In Mulbekh we spent the night at a Buddhist nunnery, in Chigtan we stayed at our guide Tashi's home in a primarily Muslim village and visited the schools there, and in Takmachik we spent a week helping out with the fall harvest and living in the homes of families there.
