Advanced Medical Technologies Symposium The AMT initiative hosted a symposium, The Innovation Environment at NC STATE, on July 23, 2008. Breakfast provided an excellent networking opportunity for attendees, which included county, state and federal government officials, medical technology developers, professional service providers, economic development officials and representatives from academia. The new AMT@NC STATE website - a foundational component of the innovation environment - was launched at the symposium, and attendees provided valuable feedback using an interactive audience response system.
