Cheruvakkal diabscreen,nov27,2009 Nov 27, 2009: Free Diabscreen Kerala Camp:Cheruvaikkal, Sreekaryam, Trivandrum Cheruvakkal Residents Association at Cheruvakkal School President: Sarath Chandran Nair Secretary: Gopakumar(Maniyan) Chief Co ordinator:Jayapalan, Chief of Operations, JDC More than 150 subjects screened.Free HbA1c, Fasting Sugar, Cholesterol(Cobas fully automatic machine), BMI, Waist etc., Of the newly detected cases more than 4 of them had A1c more than 10%. Kesavadev trust adopted 4 poor patients for totally free treatment. Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev spoke for more than 2 hrs. Neethu Annie Simon(dietitian) also seen interacting with patients and answering to their queries. More than 15 staff members from JDC volunteered for the program headed by Jayasreelally.
