The hill I was trying to climb up
ATV Rollover in Eagle Canyon While climbing a snow covered hill, the tires on my ATV started to spin and I lost forward momentum before reaching the top. I tried applying my front brakes to keep me from rolling backwards downhill, but since I was in 4WD, that caused the rear wheels to also be braked and the ATV started to tip over backwards. I jumped off but tried keeping my hand on the brake and tried to steer it in a safe direction, but it got away from me and started tumbling down a hill, then fell off a 100' cliff into the bottom of Eagle Canyon. This occurred on trail 637 in the San Rafael Swell. It took the entire following day (and some great friends!) to recover the ATV.
