Arizona Sunrise & Sunset Thank you for looking at these pictures and for your comments. About a year ago, we moved to a new Anthem community located in Florence, AZ. Florence is about 50 miles South East of Phoenix. I work in Mesa, which is part of the greater Phoenix metropolitan area. As I began my daily commute of about 40 miles, I observed sunrises every morning and sunsets every afternoon. (Funny how it works out that way!) Since I'm driving through a lot of open countryside now, instead of cityscape, I decided to begin taking these photos. Arizona probably has some of the best sunrises and sunsets in the whole world. Most of these photos are un-retouched except for a little cropping and straightening. The size of this album has become a little unwieldy. So, I am henceforth, going to create individual, and smaller, albums -- one for each month of photos. If you are reading this, then you are still in the first ("huge") album.
