Alte Pinakothek - an incredible art gallery built in 1826
2008_07_13 thru 07_14 Munich Day 2 - Sunday. We both slept well in Dinkelsbuhl and had a good breakfast in the hotel. After checking out, we setup the GPS and headed out of Dinkelsbuhl towards Munich. We headed down the Romantic Road (Romantische Strasse) while it drizzled off and on. For some reason, the light rain made the drive even more beautiful. We passed one fairy tale Bavarian town after another. We stayed off the Autobahn as long as we could but then entered to head east into Munich. The delays on the highway were substantial due to construction, but the scenery was so beautiful, it wasn't that bad. Our GPS took us off the Autobahn as we got closer and took us some back way into Munich. When we were less than a tenth of a mile away from the hotel, we kept missing the last turn that the GPS was instructing us to take. We wound up going in circles for at least 20 minutes until FINALLY, we see what looks more like a driveway entrance than a street. We found our hotel (Hotel Exquisite) and a parki
