TAEPAEKSAN 96. Made in 2007. Based on the Kamaz 55111. Name Taepaeksan (Taebaeksan) translated as Mount Taepaek. Made by the Pyongsang Auto Works, Pyongsang. 6x4 truck, 13- 15 ton payload, V8-cylinder engine. Exists as heavy dumper. Designation 96 is based on the year of introduction, Juche 96 (=2007). Assembly of 48 trucks in 2007.
