Himeji Castle 姫路城 On the way to Hiroshima I went to see The famous Himeji castle. It survived the Meiji restaration as well as the 2nd WW. It's said to be the most beautiful castle in Japan. I railed the route Kyoto - Himeji - Aiou - Okayama - Hiroshima.
