The state-level mine safety awards for the best mines and Nadu and Kerala Safety Association, Kerala Zone, and the Registered Metal Crusher Owners' Association best employees of mines in various trades will be presented at the function, which will be held under the aegis of the Tamil. Works Minister P J Joseph and Mines Safety, Chennai Region, director B P Ahuja will attend the valedictory function. The weeklong celebration, which began on February 1, discussed safety aspects of mines and ways to improve safety by adopting the best safety practices.
