We were actually extremely lucky... according to our schedule we were suppose to visit Te Puia the day before but due to mechanical problems with the plane we had to reschedule to this morning. We were not only treated to a great show with the geysers but also see a double rainbow thanks to the morning sun.

NZ Trip Day 7 - Rotorua and Auckland We spent most of the day in Rotorua, morning breakfast cruise, then Te Puia Maori village for the famous geothermal geysers. Then sheep show and farm tour along with lunch before heading off to glow warm cave. Unfortunately no photos were allowed in Waitomo caves... Finally back to Auckland for dinner buffet at Sky Tower
