Chicago Architecture May 18-20, 2007, the city of Chicago celebrated and showcased its architecture and design with the 9th annual "Great Chicago Places & Spaces" weekend of more then 200 free tours of Chicago and its neighborhoods. I was unable to sign up for a tour of restaurants, but I did get to go on the Holabird & Root: Behind the Scenes tour with some of the firm's current architects. While waiting for the tour to begin, I had downloaded an iPod tour of Chicago and walked around for a few hours.
