Black Saturday by Thelma McGough. Digitally painted. Heat transferred onto synthetic fabric by dye sublimination. Quilted by hand. Cotton backing. Warm and white cotton batting. Black saturday is a memorial quilt to the 173 people who lost their lives in the Victoria bush fires, Australia, February 2009. All the names are on the back of the quilt.
