Mt. Tallac, Lake Tahoe Desolation Wilderness Two day backpack in Desolation Wilderness of South Lake Tahoe Basin. We Started from Glen Alpine and camped at Susie Lake due to Rain/Snow storm. Our original plan was to camp at Lake Aloha but we failed due to bad weather. The next day we climbed Mt. Tallac (9700 feet) which gives you 360 degree of Lake Tahoe.
