The backyard of our first house in Spartanburg, SC. We bought it in 1967 and lived there until 1977. My Dad made half the one acre lot into a garden, chicken coop and tiny orchard. He separated the back yard from the garden area with a row of grape vines. You can see the start of the grape vines on the right. You can take the farmer out of the country but you can't take the country out of the farmer!
