Illegal Israeli settlements on the occupied West Bank On a three week tour of the West Bank during late 2007 I found that a vast amount of investment has been put into Israeli colonization of this land, as witnessed in these photos. It has been a real estate bonanza based mostly on seized Arab land - often agricultural. The question must be asked - has Israel now made a two state solution impossible? Is a one state solution, based on mutual tolerance, justice and respect, now the only solution possible?
