LeoClubofSMKGaporStampin-Food Collection
In conjunction with the International Leo’s Day, 21 Leos from SMK DPHA Gapor Stampin and SMK Sungai Tapang carried out a major project at 3 different places, which is Kenyalang’s Market, Stutong’s Market and Lion’s Nursing Home.
The purpose of this major project is to let the Leos to give a helping hand to the needy and poor by collecting vegetables, fruits, meats and some cakes and cookies from the vendors. Besides that, Leos are able to help them by distributing all the foods collected to the poor families and also the old folks in the Lion’s Nursing Home. The father from one of the poor families is a blind man. They suffer a hard time living in such condition which makes them facing financial problem. The other poor family also meets a lot of hardship in their daily lives; they also face financial problem making it hard for their kids to continue their studies.
