What you need to mount your iPod/MP3: a Mounting Bracket, eCaddy Lite plate (the thing that looks like a whistle), and a case or holder that has a belt clip, OR the Caddy Buddy weatherproof, see-through pouch.
If you have a holster or case for your iPod/MP3, ensure that it has a standard belt clip on the back. If it does, you are good to go!
Simply slide your iPod/MP3 into your case.
And slide the belt clip into the notch on the eCaddy Lite until it "clicks" into place. The faceted lug on the eCaddy Lite should be facing AWAY from your case.
If you do not have a case, OR you just want extra weather protection, purchase the Caddy Buddy. It has a clear front and the clip already sewn into the back.
Slip your iPod/MP3 into the Caddy Buddy. Note: if you have a smaller MP3 player, you can use packing around it.
To run wires, simply clip a tiny hole in the vinyl material where you want it (for example, at the bottom corner), OR run them out the edge of the top (Velcro) flap.
Slide the belt clip (on the back of the Caddy Buddy) onto the eCaddy Lite plate until it "clicks" into place. The faceted lug should be facing AWAY from the Caddy Buddy.
The Caddy Buddy and iPod/MP3 can now be installed onto any of our Mounting Brackets (shown: Harley controls).
You can still read the display, press the buttons, and rotate the dial!
Shown installed on our Round Mounting Bracket.
Any other iPod/MP3 case or holster can be mounting the same way as long as it has the belt clip.
