Barcelona
Barcelona es una ciudad asombrosa. We spent four days here and met some amazing people from Scotland, New Zealand, Isreal, Germany, and Mexico. Among my favorite things:
the beautiful port of barcelona, la rambla-- a wide pedestrian street lined with bars, restaurants, street performers, shops, and tons of people, the gothic quarter with building remains from the middle ages whent the Romans ruled, Gaudi's Sagrada Familia-- and emensly huge church that has taken over one hundred years to build and is still in progress, and Gaudi's park Guell which is covered in mosaic benches, scultpures, fountains, ect. Absolutely beautiful! Lew and I rode bikes all through the city and took a spanish cooking class. We learned to make tapas, paella, and sangria...mmmmm.
