Speedy was multi tasking for the day
doesn't everyone bring a Christmas Tree to a ride?
A dreary day made brighter with festive decorations
Hmmm, something's odd about this pic
Jdubbya and Joe try their best to break in the cars in the pkg lot
things just kept getting stranger by the minute
Joey tried his best with the antenna
We finally gave up and called in the backup
Joe had to sign his life away first
and like magic, she opened his truck!
Joe was most grateful
Finally! We're off for a ride on this beautiful day.
the roads were wet, so mtn bikes come in handy
and it was very foggy
but Joe got to see trains, so all was right w/the world.
Speedy, photoninjaAl, and PJ (our other bday gal)
the cool bridge on Willow Springs
Jdubbya
Time to hop off on some dirt roads where we feel more at home.
It wasn't too muddy
But the mud got worse, so we headed back to the roads.
The beginning of Hulseytown torture
Joey reaches the Col di Cemeteri
the KOM
When you see this, you know you're almost to the top.
Oh, that's why it's called Hulseytown!
Our fantabulous friends, Joey, Al, Joe, Paula, & Ken.
heading down the Thong Trail....don't ask
Paula and Ken
eventually it dead ends, turn around
and go back up up up
then we explored another dirt road, until we came to this wall...
Let's go for it.
it was steep and muddy, and some of us made it
We sorta kinda rode on this faint trail
felt like kids again, playing in the woods
Joe thinks he's a photoninja too
Paula may have 5 kids, but there's still lots of kid spirit in her too!
Joey looking for a wittle wabbit to wun over
exploration over, time to get back on the pavement
I think of Joe....there's lots of places like this on the route.
fenders were most appreciated today
heading to Goldmine to bring it back home
Birthday Boy Joe was a happy camper
Raja went through a few tubes on the ride after the thorns got a hold of his tire.
Happy Birthday Joe and Paula!!!
Joey, Paula, cg, Raja, Al, Joe, & Ken. Great friends...guaranteed good times together:-)
