The Natural History Museum in Kensington
Just a pretty church we passed on the way to Harrod's, the famous luxury London department store.
We spent a fair amount of time singing on a train later that evening.
Luckily, the train was pretty empty!
Saturday morning in Trafalgar Square! You can see Big Ben in the distance a little to the left of the monument.
My first stop, the National Gallery Museum. This was chock full of art from the 1500s to 1900s. Some really famous stuff is here, like Van Gogh's Sun Flowers, Monet's Water Lillies, even a few Da Vinci pieces.
That steeple belongs to St. Martins in the Fields.
Across from Trafalgar Square
Walking down Parliament Row to reach Big Ben and Westminster Abbey.
One of many government buildings.
Horse Cavalry Brigade
You really had to watch your step walking around here. Quite dodgy.
The London Eye! We rode this later on in the day.
This is the entrance to Downing Street and also where Winston Churchill had his secret war cabinet rooms from WWII.
Westminster Hall, where the two houses of Parliament sit.
Westminster Abbey
The Main Entrance to Westminster Abbey
I ran into Dan and Jahnisa at Westminster! What luck!
Excellent jump shot. You knew it was coming!
Strolling along the Thames.
On the bridge
Riding the eye! each car holds about 15-20 people
View from the Eye of Westminster Hall and Big Ben. Looks like the London of old, doesn't it?
It was a beautiful day.
Jahnisa, Dan, and I with all of London behind us.
We did eventually make it to Harrods. Too bad I couldn't afford anything! :)
Nikki, Me, Jahnisa, and Grant having fun on the town!
Enjoying a delicious kebab before we headed out to see Chicago, the musical, in the West End theatre district.
