this is the Tuomiokirkko
135 estate members from nobility, clergy, bourgeoise and peasantry, arrived here from Finland and St. Petersburg since March 1809 to 18 july 1809 for a diet. The emperor, Alexander I, in 29 March 1809, the day after the opening cerimony, gave his sovereign pledge. He promised to maintain the established religion, constitutional laws and the rights of the estates and all citizens.
