Racers up to age 13 are off to a start in their 3 mile race. MC and race starter Nelson Sommerfeldt of Hancock volunteered all day for the races this year.
Volunteer Ray Sharp guides young cyclists along the route of the 3 mile race, assuring that racers pass safely through the Portage Health parking lot on their way to the single-track woods trail.
