The Dutch Hill, PA gang has arrived in Mentor, OH! Here's Mom and Aunt Pat.
Uncle Rod and Aunt Pat.
A bunch of people who are related...Uncle Rod, Aunt Helen, Mom, Nana and some enormous whale.
The quilt that was made from a bagful of patches that were found in my grandparents house. The guess is that the patches date back to the '30s.
Upclose of some of the patches.
Mom and daughter on Mother's Day Eve.
Awesome cakes! And so very tasty.
Honestly, they were so cute. Whimsical and darling.
I sure do love cake.
Nana and Mom setting up for the shower.
The Dutch Hill gang again with Dog entertaining them.
Ted Bear, my childhood best friend. Along with a rocking chair from my Dad's childhood and authentic blankets from several decades back when I was a baby.
Aunt Carol and sweet Mia!
Gary, Cy and Jill...and a jazz musician in the background. Look at that sweet Cy!
Dog and Aaron...those look like two of the happiest people I've ever seen.
People with other people's babies...Susan and Cy, Jill, and Dog and Aaron.
Amazing food...the croissants were absolutely incredible.
Elizabeth and Kristin...moms several times over and great friends from Grove City.
Sharyn keeping it fresh.
Mrs. Lingafelter, Connie, Mrs. Pickering and Alexis...all working hard to win at Dog's game.
Dog announcing game winners.
Oh the SWEETNESS. Look at all those sweet little things on the clothesline!
We could have used 3 or 4 more people to help us hold all the fun things that were on that line.
It continues! And I think there's a new toy for Luther in the mix, too!
Dog reading advice from all the ladies.
Too much talking, not enough opening. I was just so excited about everything.
Getting down to business.
So much fun stuff.
Yay! Now we can bring Panda home from the hospital!
Seriously, I'm so excited to have a stroller and carseat...makes it all seem real!
It's in there.
There it is again.
I demand an explanation from Dog on why she insisted on vigorously shaking Susan's baby. I'm sure there's a good reason...?
Oh, okay, it was probably just my camera because LOOK at this sweet little Aaron!
Oh, he's just so beautiful. Dog makes this whole "holding a baby" thing look so easy.
Mom, Aunt Char and Aunt Becky...this picture just warms my heart!
Same crew as before...add in two pregnant girls! Congratulations on Baby #2, Heather!
Sharyn and Amy...or Shannon and Mamie...your choice.
Some fabulous Grove City College alumni (and future attendees...right, Aaron and Cy?)
And a special bonus! Later that evening I got to visit with Mike and Carli (I went to junior high and onward with Carli) and their brand new gorgeous son, Josh. I got some good advice from them, but they just make this whole thing look easy. I'm not falling for it...!
