We begin... Checking in: Buenos Aires
Excited for the trip.
The adventure begins
En route. Buenos Aires - Madrid - Doha - Shanghai - Seoul.
Pit-stop in Madrid
Taking the Madrid subway system by storm from the airport to our downtown hostel for 2 nights.

There was a lot of waiting during our travels.
One more delayed flight... spirits are still high
This was our Qatar - Shanghai - Seoul flight... just 12 more hours until Korea!
Finally in Seoul past customs
CM2007 students were awaiting us upon arrival
After arriving in Korea in the VERY early morning, we then got on a bus for a 6 hour drive to the south.
Finally arriving in Busan, S. Korea in the early morning. The boys are catching the sights.
Our first look at Busan. This is off the coast of the Sea of Japan.
Busan, Korea
This was our home for the week. We were lucky enough to be right in front of the convention center. Some people had to travel and hour by subway every morning and every evening.
In our hotel.
The Bexco convention center. A HUGE meeting room... good enough for 16,000+ people.
Anytime other than a meeting time, this is what outside of the Bexco would look like at any given hour... people!
Most groups had the same shirts in order to be able to find your group a little easier. Here are some of the Argentines.
Inside Bexco
Upper level of Bexco. A girl praying for the nations... a common sight.
The group from Argentina outside of Bexco.
Getting our seats for the meeting. I never could get a picture of the entire “room”... but it was huge.
Argentina representing.
The parade of the nations.
This was kind of like the “opening ceremony”.
The Mayor of Busan came to welcome us.
Every night there were different cultural performances.
Honey Lee, Miss Korea 2006, performing the “Hallelujah Chorus”
This is Dr. Kim, founder of CCC Korea and good friend of the late Dr. Bright from their days at UCLA... with his daughter.
Dr. Kim and his daughter. He is really an amazing man... very cool to hear him speak.
Some words of thanks and encouragemente from Vonette Bright. The 1st night also happened to be her birthday. She is on stage with Dr. and Mrs. Park, Dr. Kim and Steve and Judy Douglass.
Vonette Bright. She is a very articulate and graceful speaker. We really enjoyed listening to her.
An all Korean choir performing a special song they had prepared.
Steve Douglass (current CCC International president) and Dr. Park (current CCC Korea president)
Mrs. and Dr. Park... this was a really good talk they were giving (and translating) one night where the Koreans invited friends to come and listen.
This is what happened after Dr. Park's talk... 100's of Koreans came forward to ask Jesus Christ into their hearts.
Praying to recieve Christ
In another part of the convention center there was an area to set up booth's from places around the world. We were in charge of the South America booth. This is the “before”.
Setting up the booth.
Maxi is now an internationally renowned model!
There was never a dull moment at the South American booth. People would come by to learn about South America and about ministry opportunities.

Explaining ministry opportunities to interested students.
Treat #1: a Starbucks frappaccino. Treat #2: the Korean lunch bowl. Don't ask what it was, but it was tasty.
At CM2007 we spent were able to spend time with other students and staff from around the world. This is Cote (pronounced CO-TAY) who is on staff in Chile. We are in a mentoring program with her that meets all over South America... it was nice to see each other in Korea!
Cleighton is on staff in Brasil... he is also in the mentoring program with us in South America.
We got to meet a lot of new friends. This was one of our favorites. He called himself Rambo. And he liked the Mate.
People would come by to hear your story, tell you theirs and ask to exchange prayer requests. We really enjoyed talking to this man from Southeast Asia.
There was a special Staff Ladies time with Judy Douglass and Vonette Bright. (We're not in this picture with them)
This was the first time we met with our teams for an urban project we participated in just after the conference. This is about half of us.
After the conference we took the bus 6 hours back to downtown Seoul for an Urban mission project for 4 days.
Here we are waiting around to find out where we'll go and how we'll be split up.
We worked on mixed teams of Argentines, Koreans and North Americans.
This is where and how we slept. It's not so bad!
Our teammate Go Woon practicing with the “book without words”. It's a book of colors that you use to explain the gospel to kids.
This guy accepted Christ with Tabo through a translator
Sharing with children as they leave school.
This is Kelly's friend In Hee... a girl from the church that we worked with. She was a trip!
Youth group meeting on Sunday morning at the church we worked with.
The girls with Mal Suk (in the middle in white). We stayed at her house one night for a home-stay and she was just about the nicest lady EVER.
Seoul was VERY hot and humid at this time of year and we did a lot of walking. Here we are taking a rest with some friends.
This day was our free day and we did a LOT of walking.

Tourists
After our Urban Mission project we left Korea for Spain. After a day in Doha, Qatar and many, many hours of travelling by plane and bus, we arrived in Malaga in the southern part of the country. One of our first activities was a prayer walk over different parts of the city. Malaga is a city with an especially high population of Muslims.
This is during our orientation/briefing
All week we split into different teams and went to different places around the city doing different activites. Kerri played the role of “Fifi the clown” during our activities with children.
Puppet show for the kids.
Getting ready to play some games.
We spent a lot of time in prayer for Malaga.
During our prayer walk we crossed in front of one of the city's major universities and the city's government buildings.
Prayer walking with some yummy cherries.
This is an old Muslim, then Christian, fort above the city of Malaga. While walking the walls, we prayed over the city.

This was a time of sharing about conversations we had with people about Christ on our last night in Malaga.
