The administration building still stands. It's beautifully built using rocks brought in from Round Rock, I believe.
The spire/steeple of the administration building.
There was a neat old stairwell in the back of the building.
Southwestern has a beautiful chapel on campus. None of my photos can do it justice, but I certainly tried. It was filled with stained glass windows like this.
The stained glass window over the balcony at the back of the chapel.
The very center of the campus, looking down the historic marker, to the fountain, to the chapel in the distance.
More stained glass and organ pipes.
The chapel from the outside.
The chapel's belltower.
The campus library.
Library, again.
The school's historic marker.
A second historic marker for the administration building.
Mood Hall. This is one of the men's dorms. I couldn't find my Mom's. Turns out that it was demolished sometime ago. :/
Speaking of demolished... Mom told me of a beautiful white house she often times visited at. Turns out this is it. It was recently in a fire.
First United Methodist Church of Georgetown has a historic marker too.
It also has a National historic marker.
The organ in the sanctuary.
Windows
The massive stained glass windows on the south side of the sanctuary.
Another photo of the windows.
Right across the street, you'll find St. John's United Methodist Church. I couldn't go inside, because they were in the middle of service, but here are the windows.
...and another historical landmarker. Georgetown is full of them, isn't it?
The Lord's Prayer in Swedish on the back of the marker for the church.
