During the language component of Latseen Basketball, Tlingit language teacher Jessica Chester says Tlingit words and points to the images she just described. Students say the Tlingit words, and eventually, they are able to point to the correct images as Jessica says the words in Tlingit.

Program director and coach Mischa Plunkett, who played basketball at the University of California Santa Cruz. Plunkett, a Tlingit, also worked as assistant women’s basketball coach at the collegiate level for three years and holds a Masters Degree in Sport and Recreation Administration from Temple University.
