kailas kora - pilgrim's walk around the mountain
these are impressions from our 4 day walk around mount kailas which took place around the full moon of may , may 9th , 2009.
the full moon of may is buddha's birth day a.
this power place is like no other that i have visited .
our walk took us around the mountain , so we saw so many different faces of kailas; the day of the full moon was the big and demanding day of 10 hours of walking up to dolma la ( 18,000 ' ) and then all the way down on the east side......
