The new property. The two buildings are the girls dorm and boys dorm. Foundations are laid for the admin building and eventual kitchen. Brick wall in front. Still needs aluminum siding wall on other 3 sides.

These 3 buildings can house 36 girls - twice what they have now.

This building that was already located on the property will serve as a temporary kitchen/dining room.

Property extends to that fence line (the vertical poles). Needs to be fenced in with aluminum siding before the kids can move - for security reasons.

The girl in the brown skirt and tan flowered top is named Beza, the same as our new daughter.
Looking at pictures that Brooke sent from her visit in May. The kids LOVED seeing pictures of themselves and being able to keep them.
One of the girls bedrooms. They wanted to move all their beds together like this.
Taken in one of the boys rooms. Their home is about a block down the road from the girls home but they eat and study at the girls home.

Teaching them Battleship may have been a little ambitious :-)
We desperately want to help raise funds so that the kids can replace some of the school uniforms that are so worn.
Henok (hidden on right) reading out of the English Story Bible to the kids and one of the guards. His English is wonderful!
Putting a puzzle together. They were so proud when it was finished.

Girls and their dolls - it's universal.
Sweet Kebron. This boy especially touched both Jen and I. He yearned for our attention and just to be touching us. He also has a beautiful voice that comes from the heart. Mark called him out as a future worship leader.
The finished puzzle!
Receiving new winter hats.
Henok was busy videotaping w/ my camera so I think he got the last hat - it was a little small :-)
Mark was showing Henok and some of the boys some exercises. These are push ups with their feet up on a bench.
