Jarrod and Trenton at the entrance to Longhorn Cavern
This was in an area that it was okay to touch the rocks.
Lognhorn Cavern was formed by a fast flowing river whereas most caves are formed from slow water. The fast movement of the water is the reason that the cave walls are smooth and don't have a lot of stalagmites or stalactites.
Trenton and Mommy are checking out the Queen's Watchdog.
A cute little sleeping bat! This is one of the smallest bats in North America.
The Comanche Indians used this as a meeting room. It was later used during Prohibition as a bar/restaurant/dance hall/game room.
This room was used during the Civil War by Confederate Soldiers to store gun powder.

Enchanted Rock - between Llano and Fredericksburg. We wanted to stop here, but it had been raining a lot, and we didn't think that climbing a slick rock would be a smart idea with a 9 month old and a pregnant lady.

We got a concert!
Cave Without a Name - Boerne
My flash couldn't catch the huge rooms, so I had to take some pictures without a flash. They're a little blurry, but at least you can get an idea how beautiful this place is.
That's some Texas-size bacon!!!
We met up with some friends at the San Antonio Zoo and then went back to their house to spend the night. We were having so much fun visiting with Paxton, Tawny, Channing, and Jaxson that I forgot to take my camera out until we were almost finished at the zoo!
