Indian Creek Utah with Patty Joan Miguel Nov 2009
Wonderful trip with Patty Joan and Miguel in Indian Creek Utah. Rain ended the trip short but was still lots of fun. Jerry joined us on the last couple of days. Sorry about the low-resolution photos, but i did not realize that the camera settings were messed up. Bummer... oh well, we'll just have to go back to get these photos right! no? ;)

Chamonix Week 2
Climbed Mont Blanc via the Three Monts Route with Chris and Matt from the UK. My final big climb was traversing the Mont Blanc with Lily and Daniel from France and Argentina. We climbed the Three Monts Route and descended via the Gouther Route. Also climbed some fun easy stuff on Mont Blanc du Tacul on a rest day. Overall camped on the glacier for 8 days straight hence my coal-miner's look. Went back to Geneva then flew to NYC and spent 4 days with Brian, Tatiana, their boucing new baby Mila, and Demitri their dog. Finally made it home to Los Angeles august 3.

Chamonix Week 1a
Planned this trip with Miguel Forjan about 9 months ago. Flew to Switzerland from LAX and decided to spend all my time at Chamonix France to climb on the Mont Blanc Massif. Set up base camp at Arolles Campground in town. Explored Chamonix, the birthplace of skiing and alpine climbing, and bought some new climbing boots while there. Miguel Forjan showed up a few days later as planned and we climbed Mont Blanc under winter-like conditions (extremely cold and windy). Altitude hit us hard since we had not acclimatized. Miguel left town shortly thereafter but i stayed on the mountain to continue climbing.
