The Minuteman is a symbol for the citizen-soldier since the days of the Revolution. Since Ft Hunter Liggett is an Army Reserve Installation, manned by Reserve Soldiers and where Army, Navy, Marine and Air Force Reserve personnel train, we recognized John being with us by presenting him with a Minuteman trophy - representative of the citizen-soldiers serving our country.
