The courtyard of the home where we slept.
Annie in our digs.
Our Parisian pad.
On the street.
Our host graciously loaned us a very, very small motorcycle.
I love all of the buttresses on this church. The black at the top of the picture is our umbrella. It rained every day. The first day was hail.
I like big complicated buttresses. I can not lie.
Sainte-Chapelle where the crown of thorns was kept.
Sainte-Chapelle detail. I have never seen so much concentrated stained glass.
Cathedrale Notre Dame from the front. It is so very much larger than it looks in this picture. The front doors are taller than three people end to end.
Notre Dame from the back.
Supposedly this is where the crown of thorns is kept now. I'm not sure if I believe it but hay any excuse for a massive and elaborate cathedral.
Notre Dame again showing how it is on an island in the middle of the river. Can you tell I was impressed by this church?
River with evening rain clouds and boat traffic.
The most interesting and appealing feature of my trip to Paris.
It is good in Paris.
River Siene
Kiss, Siene, Rainbow.
A church just east of the Pantheon. The little back lump behind the white post directly under the bell tower is Annie nibbling on bread and cheese.
The Pantheon.
The pig.
A hot fire man with an amazing and enviable helmet.
Some hot lady in Paris.
Winged Victory. I would dearly love to see this in it's original condition mounted proudly to the bow of a stone ship.
Annie told me to take this picture. Honest. She also told me the figure has two extra vertebra.
Annie told me the subject was an artist herself.
I like this. And no not just because I recently resurfaced my own floors.
The Kiss - If I could take one thing home from Paris this would be it.
City of love.
This is a centaur making off with some lady. Apparently deplorable mythological sexual violence is pretty when carved in stone.
I like everything about everything that is going on in this picture.
If I could chose to be eaten by any animal.
Those boars by her feet kind of make me uncomfortable.
John in a cafe.
