John Robert's 6th Birthday Celebration

We took John Robert to Disney for a few days to celebrate his actual Birthday at his favorite place ever! It was a wonderful time! When we returned home we celebrated his Birthday with some special friends and family. He requested a "treasure hunt" party. It turned out to be a lot of fun! Happy 6th Birthday sweet boy. Daddy and Mommy love you...and Jesus does too!

St.Augustine & Ponte Vedre Beach Trip

Another fun trip with the Bulmers and Meeting Works. We explored lots of new places such as the Castillo de San Marcos and the St. Augustine Lighthouse. We also enjoyed the ammenities at the resort...mini-golf and our own private playground. Yummy breakfast, afternoon lemonade and MANY trips up and down the glass elevator to our room on the 7th floor...we had a fabulous time!

Manicures and Pedicures by Aunt Missi

Hannah Mae was very excited to get her first "professional" manicure/pedicure by Aunt Missi. She enjoyed every moment...watch out Daddy...here's a girl who likes to be pampered! Honestly though, the mani/pedi was just the icing on the cake. Both John Robert and Hannah Mae thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to have a whole day to visit with Aunt Missi. We loved her company and can't wait to play with her again!

Hannah Mae and Her Big Girl Bed

annah Mae moves into her new Big Girl Bed! While she was still very comfortable in her crib, Hannah Mae started to express an interest in having a bed like her Bubba. Daddy made sure that she had an extra special bed just for her! Both Mommy and Hannah Mae love it! Bubba approves as well!

October Family Fun 2008

A Family Fun Friday Field Trip to the Pumpkin Festival at Hunsader Farms. So many fun things to do! The children LOVED the butterfly pavillion! It was our first experience in a real corn maze. John Robert successfully led us through it! We picked out our pumpkins from the HUGE pumpkin patch and enjoyed fresh lemonade. We also enjoyed our church's annual "Hallelujah Night" celebration. Knight in Shing Armour John Robert and Princess Hannah Mae had a wonderful evening with lots of friends and family. The candy was a huge bonus!

North Carolina Vacation September 2008

Our many fond memories and adventures from our vacation to the Lake House in Glenville, North Carolina. In celebration of our 7 year Anniversary, we spent a week in a beautiful home on a lake in Glenville. Our time there included fishing, hiking, waterfall sightseeing, picking fresh blueberries, campfires, RELAXING, playtime, mining for gems and LOTS of exploring. We all had the best time. A most treasured time, a trip we are most thankful for!

Golden Eagle Football

Our first home game of the 2008 Footaball Season. The kids love to go. Getting their Eagle tattoos and popcorn with Poppy is a favortie tradition. We always enjoy seeing the Marching Band too. Although we don't usually make it through the whole game, the kids really have a great time! Daddy and Mommy don't mind watching an actual football team that can play...a much different story than when we attended Naples High School!

Tropical Storm Fay Brings Fun!

Tropical Storm Fay came and left her mark....LOTS OF PUDDLES! We decided to take advantage of this fun opportunity and enjoy the puddles right away...before the water got yucky and unsafe to play in. Poppy and Nana showed up and made the fun even better! Let's just say...Fay did not rain on our parade. No power for a day but a most wonderful day it was!

Happy 3rd Birthday Hannah Mae!

A birthday celebration on Hannah Mae's actual birthday. Cookout with Poppy, Nana, Titi; Great Grammy & Great Grandpa; Poka & Granmmy; & Great Grandpa Bobby. We had a wonderful time and finished off the evening with cookie cake & presents! Hannah Mae was so excited for this day. She had been counting down since prepartions for John Robert's birthday began! Also, a much awaited birthday party for Hannah Mae. She was so excited about having a Pony themed Birthday Party! It was an absolutely wonderful time! Lots of friends, family, yummy food, cake and FUN! The children enjoyed playing on the playground, basketball court and in the bounce house. Aunt Becky surprised Hannah Mae with a pony named Bella who gave pony rides to all of the children. Poppy and Nana brought the goodies for popcorn and cotton candy. And we of course, enjoy

Scooter Fun & A Sharpie Haircut by Nana

John Robert was ready for his regular haircut by Nanny. However, before the cutting could begin, John Robert had to try out the new scooter she got for him. He was sure to show off extra special...just for her! By the way, he loved his haircut. He thinks it makes him look like a "sharpie boy". A great compliment to him, as he was once told by Poppy that he looked "sharp". Ever since, he loves to have his hair brushed back real slick. We laugh...it's really cute!
